Fire Truck Accident

A fire truck accident can occur for a number of reasons. The most typical of these lies with other vehicles not recognizing the fire truck is coming in an emergency capacity. When fire trucks are heading to firs and accidents, they display their flashing lights and sound their sirens. The law allows them to disregard most traffic laws during this time, and they often run red lights and cut though all traffic lanes to reach the scene as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, that means they do not always get there as safely as possible. Many times accidents occur simply because other drivers do not hear or see a fire truck coming, in part because cars are more soundproof than ever, but it can also be because drivers are playing loud music, talking on cell phones or are being negligent of the road conditions. At the same time, the pursuit to get to the scene fast can cause highly trained fire truck drivers to be reckless or misjudge traffic and traffic conditions.
